The foundation on what was to be Galleon was laid back in 1985, they
released their first album "Lynx" in 1993 and have since releases a
total of eight full-length albums! They have toured Europe a couple of
times, giving the audience well-crafted symphonic rock which they always
perform and record with their hearts, clearly loving what they do. Being
the best kept secret out of Sweden for close to twenty years, their days
with that epithet is with their brand new album surely over! On this,
their ninth album they have outdone themselves, giving us eight songs of
pure symphonic rock extravaganza and with a production in the same
caliber as the legendary classics of the genre. Their brand of symphonic
rock has a sound of no one else, majestic, atmospheric and highly
melodic with a touch of Swedish Folk. Prominent, as always, are the
amazing bass and guitar work and the ever elegant keyboard parts which
throughout the album gives you permanent goose bumps.
